Gray Line Peru protects its clients’ information and does not share it with third parties unless authorized by our clients to do so for planning, reservation or tour implementation purposes.
We consider our clients’ personal information, tour characteristics, payment and relative information to be highly confidential.
Communication
It is our policy to establish a good communication with our clients through several personal, physical and electronic means; nonetheless, we respect the boundaries and international regulations implied. In case any of our approaches to contact you might seem offensive or annoying, please let us know immediately so as to find a quick and proper solution.
Corporate material and virtual brochures
At Gray Line Peru we have taken the decision to optimize tons of pages using environmentally friendly materials and adapting this information into PDFs to be shared via email.
Our goal is to become an environmentally friendly business by minimizing the impact of our operations. As part of this goal, we have been cutting down on paper usage and avoiding as much as possible the wastage of print papers. We also reuse and encourage recycling among our collaborators.
Credits
Texts, images and videos displayed in the website have been developed by and are property of Gray Line Peru, with the exception of those given by institutions and independent photographers, as well as friends of the company.
General conditions
Gray Line Peru limited liability for independent suppliers
Gray Line Peru acts as Peru’s operator in charge of hiring services offered by diverse suppliers: transportation, accommodation, restaurants and other services offered by independent suppliers that are not under our control. Viajes Pacifico INC. is not responsible or liable for any death, personal injury, damage or loss caused by a suppliers’ negligence act or omission or any other event of which we have no control over.
Gray Line Peru liability for domestic and international flights
Domestic and international flights are subject to cancellations, delays, rescheduling and being oversold; if this is the case, Gray Line Peru will do anything possible to assist the clients on boarding their flights or making any needed alternative arrangements. These actions are simple courtesy to the clients and therefore Gray Line Peru will be not hold responsible for any boarding problems, additional payments required due to fee change or the accommodation, food and additional transfers offered by the airline as a solution to flight delays or cancellations.
Adventure activities and non-conventional tours
Some adventure activities might be seen as risky and therefore entail personal injury. To mention a few: trekking, river rafting, canoeing, mountain bike trips, horseback riding trips, etc. Passenger must be warned and be aware their safety cannot be completely guaranteed and that Gray Line Peru is not liable or responsible for their personal safety. Some of these tours might have their clients fill out a disclaimer form.
Unforeseen events beyond our control
Gray Line Peru INC will not be responsible for any unforeseen or unavoidable events which are beyond our control such as: earthquake, storm, flood, war or threat of war, riot, strike, terrorist attack, robbery, disease, fire, quarantine or in the event of damage to the air, sea and land, aircraft or any act beyond their control or their suppliers.
Visa, customs and vaccinations
Gray Line Peru is not responsible for arranging any customs, vaccination or visa paperwork. Yellow Fever vaccination is recommended for people traveling to the Jungle (keep in mind the immunization must be given no less than 10 days prior to planned date). A valid International Certificate of Vaccination is recommended.
General Sales Tax exemption in hotels- Peru (I.G.V)
According to the law, any provision of accommodation and food to non-domiciled individuals, either personally or through a tour program, and on receipt of passport and Andean migration card at the moment of check-in, is exempt from the General Sales Tax. All hotel services the client might benefit from must be coordinated, arranged, conducted and organized by travel and tourism agencies domiciled in the country. According to the law, there is no provision for money transfers from overseas travel agencies which is why these are subject to 19% of the General Sales Tax.
