Piquillacta,  30 Kms. away from Cusco, this is an archeological set of archeological embankments and tall walls encircling its high original buildings, its walls are stone made stuck with compact mud. Next stop, Andahuaylillas where the so-called Sixtine Chapel of Peru is found. Founded in 1580, it shows great simplicity in its exterior, contrasting with the great expressiveness of its colonial barroco exterior.
